Liza Grobler (b. 1974 ZA) and Rauma Lyseum 7th grade students.
Liza Grobler studies everyday objects and speaks up to current consuming focused lifestyle. In her art works Grobler uses recycled materials, mainly plastic. At Rauma Grobler carried out two environmental art works. One with Rauma Lyseum 7th grade students to the bus stop and the other to the trees surrounded old Holy Trinity Church ruins. “Dressing up – Stepping out” consisted of ”dresses” crocheted around the trees from gift strings. In addition Grobler led for Freinet-school children a mask workshop, where they made masks based on African traditions.
